Prof. Lyesse Laloui delivered two lectures at the Energy Foundations Seminar organized by the Deep Foundations Institute on September 18th 2018 at University of Illinois at Chicago
The one-day event focused on Practical Construction Aspects of Designing, Installing and Operating a Ground-Sourced Heat Pump Solution Connected to Energy Foundations. Invited speakers detailed good practice guidelines and discussed the importance and benefits of long-term management and operation of ground-source heat pump systems.
Professor Laloui contributed to the session entitled STATE-OF-PRACTICE IN ENERGY FOUNDATION TECHNOLOGIES with the presentation about Current Research Conclusions on Energy Foundations as well as to the session entitled INNOVATIVE AND CHALLENGING APPLICATIONS with the presentation about Energy Tunnels and Slurry Walls.
