Characterizing the thermal behavior of Lausanne’s underground

GEOEG is currently working on the characterization of the thermal behavior of Lausanne’s underground comprising the influence of building basements and underground infrastructures, to assess the potential in energy savings and recovery of heat losses. This work includes both an on-site measurement campaign and numerical modeling.  Here the St-Laurent neighborhood (model in the making).
